Grunewald testing at El Toro

Irvine, CA - I traveled down to Socal with the Blu808 crew to shoot Conrad testing out the Camaro's new front suspension setup, which gives the car 51ยบ of steering angle. We met up with Rhys Millen and his crew at MCAS El Toro, where the Long Beach course was set up on one of the runways.

After some tweaks and tuning, the Camaro was a pretty amazing sight, spewing as much smoke as the Tanaka Corvette, which Conrad drove through the 2008 season.

To end the day, Conrad and Rhys did a few tandem runs. If they do it in Long Beach they way they did it at El Toro the crowd is sure to love it.

BFG Nation of GO meet at WORKS

Sonoma, CA - WORKS Motorsports hosted the first stop on BFGoodrich's nationwide tour to launch their Nation of GO website, an online community for auto enthusiasts to plan drives, get advice from pros, and share their experiences.

Although WORKS's focus on Evos puts it squarely in rally and road racing territory, the meet was largely drift-oriented, with cars like 240SX's and Corollas in abundance. WORKS's well known orange-striped time attack car has been converted to rear wheel drive and now wears blue stripes. Driver Josh McGuire has been practicing with the car locally as he prepares to get on the Pro/Am circuit. Luke Lonberger of Blu808 also brought his Turbo LS1 S14 out to the meet, and he and McGuire were putting on a good show on the cone course in the lower paddock.

Will Roegge was filming with BFGoodrich, so you know some quality videos will be popping up before too long.

Location: Infineon Raceway
